PVC - Stardom
I think we should have called this Saturday Night Fever, I might even
be daring enough and use this to cover my kitchen table. We have just
bought a new table, after 10 years, and the original one came in the
house so it was very old. We finally went for it and bought a new table
for £150, heavily discounted because there is a crack in it bit the top
is a beautiful round slab of oak and my son just wants to dent it with
his knife and fork, the more we say no the more he laughs. Maybe this
will stun him into remission?
To tell you a little bit about the fabric, it is a PVC coated ripstop
fabric, waterproof and pretty stiff, not too stiff but it is not like a
rubber coated polyurethane which would be totally malleable. You could
make wonderful bags, aprons, table coverings and the more adventurous
could try making a jacket.
